Following a successful partnership with Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing in the Verizon IndyCar Series in 2015 it was confirmed today that the iconic Steak N’Shake brand will return as the primary sponsor to the No.15 Honda of Graham Rahal for five races during the 2016 Verizon IndyCar Series championship which will include the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500.
The five races are the two events at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the race at St Petersburg, Mid-Ohio and Sonoma.
Speaking about the partnership RLLR co-owner Bobby Rahal commented by saying:
We are very pleased that Steak ‘n Shake will be back with us in 2016, The 2015 IndyCar Series season was a great one for us both on track and off and our partnership with Steak ‘n Shake was one of the many highlights. We are looking forward to building on that success together in 2016.
Graham Rahal was a title contender in 2015 and took two victories during the season and eventually finished the year in fourth place but with the continued support of Steak N’Shake, RLLR have continuity heading into the 2016 season which is something to build on for their season ahead.
