John Force has confirmed that his daughter Courtney should be back racing in the NHRA in time for the next event the Lucas Oil Nationals in Brainerd on August 21.
Courtney had a heavy crash last weekend while competing in her John Force Racing funny car in Seattle, her husband, Verizon IndyCar Series driver Graham Rahal had left Seattle on Sunday morning to head to Indianapolis Motor Speedway for a Firestone tyre test which took place on Monday.
Force sustained no broken bones just some bruising and speaking about the accident Rahal commented by saying:
Court’s good. No broken bones, luckily, She got banged up pretty good. Her knee, elbow and head and everything else is going to be a little tender for a while, but she seems to be all right.
Rahal has been busy as he was in Indianapolis on Monday for the Firestone tyre test and today he has joined his colleagues at Watkins Glen International for Verizon IndyCar Series test ahead of next months IndyCar Grand Prix at The Glen.
