Mark Rushbrook, Global Director Ford Performance Motorsport says the company are excited about the future of their Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series programme with their young driver programme with their partner teams, Penske, Stewart Haas Racing, Rick Ware Racing, Wood Brothers Racing, Front Row Motorsports, Go Fas Racing and Roush Fenway Racing.

Speaking to Paddock Eye during a Zoom media call on Tuesday where it was announced that Chase Briscoe will drive the No.14 High Point Ford Mustang in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series in 2021, Rushbrook said that they are excited as they have great teams, great drivers and paying attention to every aspect of the programme such as engine.

The competition from the three OEM’s is fierce and to have Briscoe in one of the Cup cars is exciting for the company as they continue to move forward in the future.
