Formula One has confirmed that due to the ongoing COVID-19 global pandemic that the sport will not travel to the United States, Mexico, Brazil or Canada in 2020.

In a statement on Friday, Formula One Chairman and CEO Chase Carey said:

We want to pay tribute to our incredible partners in the Americas and look forward to being back with them next season when they will once again be able to thrill millions of fans around the world
