Andretti Autosport’s Louis Foster was the pacesetter at the end of the season Chris Griffis Memorial test at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course on Friday.
British driver Foster ended his rookie INDY NXT presented by Firestone season in fourth place setting a fastest time of 01:14.8432s and speaking following the action he action he said:
Hopefully, we can keep our form like last year into 2024. “Looking forward to therest of the offseason and doing some more testing so we can improve on what we did today.
Jacob Abel of Abel Motorsports was second fastest with a time of 01:14.9201s while Force Indy driver Myles Roe was third fastest with a time of 01:14.9487s completing 38 laps and ending the day just ahead of Nolan Siegel and rookie Caio Collet while Reece Gold was sixth with a time of 01:15.1540s.
Christian Bogle was seventh just ahead of Kaylen Frederick and Michael d’Orlando while Bryce Aron rounded out the top ten. Andretti Global’s Jamie Chadwick was 11th just ahead of Yuven Sundaramoorthy while James Roe was 13th fastest.
Callum Hedge was 14th just ahead of Josh Pierson and Jack William Miller. Dubliner Jonathan Browne was 17th for Abel Motorsports as he drove an INDY NXT presented by Firestone for the first time setting a 01:15.9039s.
Jace Denmark was 18th just ahead of Antonio Serravelle while Niels Koolen rounded out the top 20. On her debut in an INDY NXT car for Juncos Hollinger Racing, Lindsay Brewer was 21st with a time of 01:18.6942s and completed 51 laps.
