Andretti Autosport’s Colton Herta in the No.26 Gainbridge Honda took victory in the Firestone Grand Prix of St Petersburg while in the opening race of the Texas Motor Speedway doubleheader, the Genesys 300, defending NTT IndyCar Series champion Scott Dixon in the No.9 PNC Bank Chip Ganassi Racing Honda took victory while in the XPEL 375 on Sunday, Arrow McLaren SP’s Pato O’Ward in the No.5 Arrow McLaren SP Chevrolet took his first career win.

The month of May could through in a different winner given that Meyer Shank Racing are bring Helio Castroneves back for the Indianapolis 500 while Arrow McLaren SP will have Juan Pablo Montoya will compete in both the GMR Grand Prix of Indianapolis and the 105th running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge on May 30.
