Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing announced on Tuesday that veteran engineer, Brandon Fry has joined the team’s sportscar programme as Technical/Racing Operations Director.
Fry joins Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing from Chip Ganassi Racing where he spent the 2017 Verizon IndyCar Series season as race engineer to Max Chilton in the No.8 Gallagher Honda.
Speaking about the new appointment, Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing co-owner, Bobby Rahal commented by saying:
I’m really pleased that Brandon chose to join our team as technical and racing operations director. “His history of success speaks for itself and I know that he will provide great value to our organization going forward.
Fry, who has over 20 years of experience working as an engineer commented by saying:
I was really excited when Bobby called and offered me this opportunity to join Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing. “The team has a history of success and I’m looking forward to working with BMW Team RLL as the new BMW M8 GTE is launched for the 2018 IMSA season.
