Chip Ganassi Racing will once again run a four car full time NTT IndyCar Series programme in 2021 following the news on Thursday that Alex Palou will drive the No.10 Honda.
Ganassi have been busy since the Firestone Grand Prix of St Petersburg last weekend where it was announced that seven time Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson will drive the No.48 Carvana Honda for all road and street course events in 2021.
On Wednesday, it was confirmed that Marcus Ericsson will remain with the team in the No.8 Huski Chocolate Honda for 2021.
Scott Dixon who won his sixth NTT IndyCar Series championship on Sunday will continue in the No.9 PNC Bank Honda in 2021.
What is yet to be decided is who will partner Jimmie Johnson in the No.48 Honda for the oval events next year.
Paddock Eye understands that Tony Kanaan could be in the running to drive the No.48 Honda in an pval only programme.
