Chip Ganassi Racing head into the 2016 Verizon IndyCar Series as defending champions with Scott Dixon having taken the title in dramatic fashion again Juan Pablo Montoya on the final day of the season in 2015.

In 2016 the team have some stability retaining Scott Dixon alongside Tony Kanaan and Charlie Kimball but they also have an IndyCar rookie in Max Chilton who has joined the team following a year in the Indy Lights championship.

Ganassi has been impressed by Max Chilton’s performances over the winter but the real test for the Englishman who will drive the No.8 Chevrolet will come when IndyCar hits the ovals for the first time this season.

Ganassi have continuity not just on the driver front for 2016 as the primary sponsor for the No.9, Target and the primary sponsor to the No.10, NTT Data have continued their association and to celebrate the long standing relationship with Target, Scott Dixon will run the retro lightening bolt livery for the season.
