Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series the owner Chip Ganassi had no choice but to terminate Kyle Larson’s contract with his outfit.

Ganassi fired Larson who drove the No.42 Credit One Bank Chevrolet in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series after he made a racial slur during a NASCAR iRacing event on Sunday.

Chip Ganassi Racing quickly suspended Larson without pay as did a number of Larson’s personal sponsors such as Chevrolet, McDonald’s and Credit One Bank with Ganassi later releasing Larson.

Ganassi has been praised for his quick response to the what happened. Larson was also suspended indefinitely by NASCAR and iRacing.

The decision was a no brainer for Ganassi who runs owns one of the most successful motor racing outfits in the world.

As of Thursday morning it was unclear as to who will replace Larson in the No.42 Credit One Bank Chevrolet.
