Chip Ganassi has revealed that he has spoken to two of his Verizon IndyCar Series drivers, Tony Kanaan and Max Chilton.
Two weeks ago at the ABC Supply 500, Chilton questioned why he was being retired from the race and retired from the Bommarito Automotive Group 500 presented by Valvoline at the weekend.
Tony Kanaan in the No.10 NTT DATA Honda retired from the Bommarito Automotive Group 500 and refused to talk to the media.
There has been a lot of speculation surrounding Chip Ganassi Racing’s Verizon IndyCar Series programme for 2018.
Taking to Twitter on Monday Ganassi said:
Spoke to @maxchilton and @TonyKanaan. The only time we pull cars off the track is when we have no chance at a better finishing position.
