Chip Ganassi has revealed that he never had anything to worry about with Scott Dixon amid rumors that the Iceman was in talks with McLaren with a view to joining the team in the Verizon IndyCar Series in 2019.

Ganassi asked Dixon if there was anything to worry about in relation to McLaren to which Dixon said that there was nothing to worry about and they everything was ok for the pair at the team.

Ganassi says that having Dixon on his team has been a lot of fun and the pairing has been one of the most successful in Verizon IndyCar Series history.

The Iceman has secured 44 victories and won the Indianapolis 500 in 2008. Dixon in third in the all time win list behind fellow series legends Mario Andretti and AJ Foyt. Dixon is also second in the all time championship list on five titles with AJ Foyt on seven titles.
