Fans of the NTT IndyCar Series will be seeing double this weekend as we head to Portland for the Grand Prix of Portland to kick off the three week West Coast Wing that culminates in the crowning of the 2021 NTT IndyCar Series champion.
Defending NTT IndyCar Series champion Scott Dixon will be in his familiar blue and orange No.9 PNC Bank Honda as the Iceman looks to close the gap in the championship as he aims to win back to back championships for the first time in his career.
Dixon’s teammate, Alex Palou who is in his first season with Chip Ganassi Racing and is currently second in the championship just ten points behind championship leader Pato O’Ward will also be driving with PNC Bank.
Palou will be racing the No.10 PNC Bank Honda. So, how will we tell the difference? The Iceman’s front and rear wing end plates are orange while Palou has blue end plates front and rear.
Banking on a top 10! 😏 @AlexPalou will be piloting the @PNCBank livery this weekend at the Grand Prix of Portland on September 12th!
