Target Chip Ganassi Racing Team owner Chip Ganassi has confirmed to Paddock Eye that his outfit will run four full time cars in the Verizon IndyCar Series in 2016.
Ganassi, the reigning Verizon IndyCar Series champion with Scott Dixon in the No.9 Target Chip Ganassi Racing, Tony Kanaan in the No.10 NTT Data Chevrolet, Charlie Kimball in the No.83 Nova Nordisk Chevrelot.
When asked by Paddock Eye how many cars he will run this season, Ganassi commented by saying:
4 this season!
It was confirmed earlier this week that Sage Karam who drove the No.8 AFS Ganassi entry alongside Sebastian Saavedra last year will drive for the Dreyer and Reinbold Racing team at the 100th edition of the Indianapolis 500 in May.
It is believed that Saavedra could be back in the car alongside former Formula One and Indy Lights driver Max Chilton could also be in the running for the seat.
