Chip Ganassi is unconcerned about his Verizon IndyCar Series teams future following the news on Wednesday that after 27 years Target are leaving the outfit at the end of 2016.

The news came as a surprise to many however Ganassi who fields four cars in the Verizon IndyCar Series has said that he expects to announce a replacement primary sponsor for reigning series champion Scott Dixon’s No.9 Chevrolet within the next thirty to sixty days.

Ganassi has also confirmed that the team will once again field four full time cars in the Verizon IndyCar Series in 2017.

Tony Kanaan’s No.10 Chevrolet is sponsored by NTT DATA, Charlie Kimball’s No.83 Chevrolet is sponsored by TRESIBA® while Max Chilton is sponsored by Gallagher.
