General Motors are on the verge of entering Formula One as a works team in 2026.

It has been reported that General Motors talks to entr Formula One in 2026 have been given a boost following the departure of Michael Andretti from the Andretti Global organization.

Andretti Global’s new boss, Dan Towriss is in Las Vegas this weekend to hold talks with Formula One and GM.

Should GM’s entry be accepted for 2026 they would need to strike a deal with Andretti Global who have opened a race shop in Silverstone and have brought in Pat Symonds as a technical consultant.

It is understood that General Motors who were going to enter Formula One with Cadillac and Andretti Global woud own the he team 100 percent with no input from Andretti Global.
