The NTT IndyCar Series heads to Texas Motor Speedway for this weekend’s double-header Genesys 300 and the XPEL 375 however, before the track action gets underway on Saturday there is the small matter of a dual in downtown Fort Worth.

Chip Ganassi Racing’s returning Tony Kanaan and his teammate Alex Palou who won the 2021 season-opening Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama at Barber Motorsports will join Team Penske’s Josef Newgarden and Will Power for a street demonstration in Fort Worth on Friday.

Kanaan returns to the NTT IndyCar Series this weekend driving the No.48 NTT DATA Carvana Honda after signing a two-year contract to partner with seven-time Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson.

TK will compete on the ovals including the 105th running of the Indianapolis 500 starting with this weekend’s double-header in Texas while Johnson will compete on the road and street course events.
