Arrow Schmidt Peterson Motorsports James Hinchcliffe who drivers the No.5 Arrow Electronics Honda is excited to have his friend and former team mate Conor Daly back with him for this weekend’s Portland Grand Prix from Portland International Raceway.

It was announced on Thursday that Daly will drive the No.7 Arrow Electronics Honda in place of Marcus Ericsson who is on stand by in Belgium to race in place of Kimi Raikkonen should the Iceman pull out of the race as the Finn is suffering from a muscle strain in his leg.

Daly and the Mayor of HinchTown worked together at SPM in 2015 when Hinch returned to the race track following his accident during practice for the 99th Indianapolis 500.

Daly has great experience and having driven with Carlin and Andretti Autosport already this season he will have a bank of knowledge that will allow him to get up to speed quickly and we can expect the No.5 and No.7 Arrow Electronics cars to roll off the transporters fast.
