Romain Grosjean may not have a full-time NTT INDYCAR SERIES drive for this season. However, his experience will be invaluable in his new role at PREMA Racing.
On Friday, the Italian outfit, which launched its new INDYCAR SERIES team in Charlotte, North Carolina, announced that Grosjean had been named the team’s official reserve driver for the 2025 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season.
Grosjean has experience with the new hybrid technology that INDYCAR introduced at the Mid-Ohio Sportscar Course from July 5-7; Grosjean also has experience with the Chevrolet power unit, having driven with Juncos Hollinger Racing last season.
The team is expected to begin INDYCAR SERIES testing over the next couple of days.
