Andretti Autosport’s Romain Grosjean in the No.28 Delaware Life DHL Honda says that he has a hell of a team after he scored his second NTT P1 Award of the season in Barber Motorsports Park.

The French-Swiss driver set a faster time of 01:05.8396s and speaking following the action, Grosjean, who scored a second-place finish last time out in Long Beach was delighted with the effort and work by his team saying:

Missing practice yesterday [due to a mechanical issue] is never ideal, but it shows the strengths we have at Andretti Autosport as a team. We’ve got a very good baseline [chassis setup] and the car works well everywhere, we’ve been working with Honda to optimize our performance at each race. So we have nice driveability and great feedback from all our [Andretti Autosport] drivers. Quite excited to have an all-Honda front row for tomorrow!”

Grosjean went on to say:

“I’ve got a hell of a team.. “We’re doing such a great job this year. The car is awesome, and I have three teammates I can rely on. I went with the setup, the baseline we have, and from the moment we started quali, I knew we had it. I just didn’t want to mess it on the last lap.”

The Andretti driver who is joined on the front row by Alex Palou went on to say:

“We’re starting in the best position, but now we’ve got 90 laps to lead. “We’ll see tomorrow, but I’m really proud of my guys and really happy with what we’re doing. I was very stressed that session – I don’t know why. I’m too old for this, but I guess I’m not. So, it’s all good.”
