Former Haas F1 Team driver Esteban Gutierrez has confirmed that he will compete in a part schedule in Formula E this season.

In a press conference on Monday, the Mexican announced that he will drive in select races in the all electric racing series which goes into it’s third season this year. Gutierrez has not yet confirmed what team he will drive for but stated that he will race in Mexican ePrix.

Gutierrez who competed for the Sauber and Haas F1 Team’s as well as being part of Ferrari’s young driver programme was replaced at the Haas F1 Team for 2017 by former McLaren and Renault Sport F1 driver Kevin Magnussen who joins Romain Grosjean at the American outfit after being replaced himself by Nico Hulkenberg.
