The Haas F1 Team announced in Singapore today that they will retain both Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen for the 2020 season.
The news comes on the same day that Robert Kubica announced he will leave Rokit Williams Racing at the end of the season.
The announcement from the American team also limits the options available to Nico Hulkenberg who is without a driver e for 2020 having been dropped by Renault in favour of Esteban Ocon.
Hulkenberg had been linked to one of the seats at Haas but that failed to materialize.
Paddock Eye understands that the only other option available to Hulkenberg is a return to the Alfa Romeo Racing team where he raced as Sauber to partner Kimi Raikkonen next season however Ferrari appear keen for Alfa to retain Antonio Giovinazzi.
