President of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Musuem Joe Hale is to to step down from his role just weeks after the musuem reopened following a huge restoration project.
Hale has been in the role for over four years and in a statement the musuem said:
Recognized for his expertise in fundraising and managing capital campaigns, Hale guided the Museum through its successful inaugural $69 million capital campaign and oversaw the completion of a massive renovation that came in under budget and on schedule – its first major renovation in 40 years.
Hale’s last day will be June 20.
