Defending Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton was the fastest driver in Free Practice 3 at British Grand Prix on Saturday morning. The four time world champion set a time of 01:27.722s.
Scuderia Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen was second fastest just 0.093s behind Hamilton with Valtteri Bottas in the second Mercedes ending the session in third place.
Sebastien Vettel who appeared to have had an issue with his car ended the session in fourth place just ahead of Aston Martin Red Bull Racing’s Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo.
It was a great session for the Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 Team’s Charles Leclerc who ended the session in seventh place just ahead of the Haas F1 Team’s Kevin Magnussen and Romain Grosjean while Marcus Ericsson in the second Sauber rounded out the top ten. The Sahara Force India Formula One Team’s Esteban Ocon and Sergio Perez were 11th and 12th respectively just ahead of McLaren Renault’s Fernando Alonso.
The Renault Sport F1 Team’s Nico Hulkenberg and Carlos Sainz ended the session in 114th and 15th place respectively.
Williams Martini Racing’s Lance Stroll and Sergey Siroktin ended the session in 16th and 17th place just ahead of McLaren Renault’s Stoffel Vandoorne while neither Toro Rosso set a time after Brendon Hartley’s big crash in the session.
