Reigning world champion Lewis Hamilton will be back in the spotlight on Thursday as he is scheduled to attend the FIA drivers press conference ahead of this weekend’s United States Grand Prix at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas.
Last time in Japan, Hamilton was critical of the media and played with his phone during the drivers press conference while it was going on and was at one point asked if he wanted to share what he found so amusing.
Hamilton later criticized the media and said that he would no longer answer questions at media briefings.
The three time world champion heads into this weekend’s race 33 points behind team mate and championship leader Nico Rosberg with just four races remaining this season. Regardless of what happens this weekend, Hamilton will head to the next race in Mexico next weekend behind Rosberg in the race for the championship.
