World champion Lewis Hamilton took victory in today’s Brazilian Grand Prix after race leader Max Verstappen in his Aston Martin Red Bull Racing car was spun around by Racing Point Force India F1 Team’s Esteban Ocon.
Despite the spin, Verstappen recovered to finish the race in second place.
Scuderia Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen in his penultimate race for the Italian team which was also his 150th race for the outfit scored his 12th podium of the season coming home in third place.
Aston Martin Red Bull Racing’s Daniel Ricciardo finished the race in fourth place just ahead of Valtteri Bottas in his Mercedes.
Sebastian Vettel finished the race in sixth place just ahead of the Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 Team’s Charles Leclerc who came home in seventh place just ahead of the Haas F1 Team’s Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen. Racing Point Force India F1 Team’s Sergio ‘Checo’ Perez rounded out the top ten.
Scuderia Toro Rosso’s Brendan Hartley finished the race in eleventh place just ahead of the Renault Sport F1 Team’s Carlos Sainz and Pierre Gasly.
McLaren Renault’s Stoffel Vandoorne finished the race in 14th place just ahead of Racing Point Force India F1 Team’s Esteban Ocon.
Sergey Sirotkin was 16th for Williams Martini Racing just ahead of McLaren Renault’s Fernando Alonso.
Lance Stroll was 18th, rounding out the order for the Williams Martini Racing team. The Renault Sport F1 Team’s Nico Hulkenberg and Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 Team’s Marcus Ericsson were the only two retirements from the race.
Hamilton’s win also sees Mercedes crowned Constructors champions for the fifth consecutive season.
