Harding Racing president Brian Barnhart says that the team are hoping for a solid weekend in Toronto with Conor Daly in the No.88 Harding Group Chevrolet.
Daly is being being evaluated for the 2019 IndyCar Series season as the team prepare to expand their operation to a two car full-time programme.
Speaking ahead of the action this weekend, Barnhart said:
The Harding Racing team is hoping for a solid weekend here in Toronto where we’re back on the temporary street circuits,” We’ve made a few changes on the team where we’re looking for a different perspective. We are hoping to see some improvements with our performance relating to the car with Conor Daly taking Gabby’s seat for this weekend. We’re happy to have Gabby on board and thankful to have him secured for the long-term future, but the challenges of being a single car team in this Verizon IndyCar Series are enormous. We just felt it would be a good time to try a different perspective and get a little different feedback from the engineering group and hopefully that can move our whole team together forward.
