Harding Racing head to Pocono Raceway, the Tricky Triangle for the ABC Supply 500 aiming for another strong weekend.
The team led by businessman Mike Harding and Larry Curry made a successful Verizon IndyCar Series debut at the 101st running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil where Gabby Chaves in the No.88 Chevrolet finished the race in ninth place having started the race from 25th place.
In the team’s second outing at the Rainguard Water Sealers 600 at Texas Motor Speedway, Chaves started the race from 20th place and finished the race in 5th place. Chaves says that although the team know they won’t be in a position to win at the Tricky Triangle they will do everything they can to finish their season off with an extremely strong result.
Harding Racing are working on a full-time programme in the Verizon IndyCar Series starting from the 2018 season with Chaves.
Speaking ahead of this weekend’s race, Chaves commented by saying:
It’s been too long in between races for me, so I am very excited and happy to get back to competition at the highest level again. I believe we’ve done a good job of preparing the best we can and I’m ready to pay off all that hard work this weekend. I look forward to another great result for Harding Racing.
