Harding Steinbrenner Racing are aiming for a strong finish to their first full time season in the NTT IndyCar Series as the 2019 season comes to a close this weekend with the Firestone Grand Prix of Monterey at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca which counts for double points.

The team have had an up and down season with the highlight being Colton Herta’s victory at the Circuit of the Americas.

Speaking about the upcoming race, team president Brian Barnhart said:

We’re very happy that there is an open test with about six hours of track activity prior to official practice for the Firestone Grand Prix of Monterey. “We hope that this will allow us to get on pace rather quickly. WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca is the type of track that suits Colton’s season-long driving style. He has some history there in other racing series, so he knows the track, and hopefully he can adapt quickly in an Indy car. We’re looking forward to another solid qualifying and race effort to wrap up 2019.”
