Harding Steinbrenner Racing team president Brian Barnhart says he and the team are looking forward to going to Portland International Raceway for this weekend’s Portland Grand Prix as it is where they tested with Coltoni Herta last year.
Speaking ahead of the race, Barnhart said:
I’m looking forward to this weekend’s event at the Portland International Raceway. “It’s where we had our first interaction and opportunity to run Colton in an Indy car. We tested there in the summer of 2018, and it went extremely well. Portland International Raceway is the type of track that seems to suit Colton’s driving style. It’s kind of like the Circuit of the Americas and Road America which are a couple of tracks where we have had great success at this year. We’re hoping we can continue that trend this weekend.”
Colton Herta in the No.88 Capstone Turbines Honda is looking forward to the race this weekend and said:
“I’m really excited for the Grand Prix of Portland this weekend. “I enjoyed racing at Portland International Raceway last year in Indy Lights, so it will be a blast racing there in an Indy car. The #88 Capstone Turbine Honda car was so quick last weekend, so I’m hoping we can continue that speed this weekend and get a great finish!
