Toro Rosso team principal Franz Tost has confirmed that the Italian team are set to retain Brendon Hartley and Pierre Gasly for 2018.
Hartley joined Toro Rosso for last weekend’s United States Grand Prix and was extremely impressive and as a result was kept for this weekend’s race in Mexico.
Gasly who had been driving in place of Daniil Kvyat missed the United States Grand Prix last weekend but is now back with the team alongside Hartley.
Red Bull have confirmed that Daniil Kvyat who scored a point at the United States Grand Prix is no longerr part of their driver programme.
Speaking about Brendon Hartley, Tost said he has been very impressed with the New Zealander who won the LeMans 24 Hours and the World Endurance Championship this year.
