Meyer Shank Racing’s Jack Harvey in the No.60 AutoNation Sirius XM Honda says he is feeling pretty good heading into this weekend’s inaugural IndyCar Classic at the Circuit Of The Americas in Austin Texas.

The Englishman had a great season opening Firestone Grand Prix of St Petersburg as he started the race from seventh and finished in tenth.

Speaking ahead of the race this weekend Harvey said:

“I feel pretty good heading into COTA and I think it’s just momentum that is good for us to have. “It’s the thing that we struggled to generate last year. Now we have shown everybody and we have shown ourselves, most importantly, that we can produce good results. Now it’s just a case of fine tuning it, reworking it and try to finish further up the field.

Team owner Michael Shank was delighted with how the team’s season started and speaking ahead of the race in Texas this weekend:

We had a really great start in St. Pete and Jack did a tremendous job. “Our goal this year is to continually qualify in the top 12 and finish in the top 10. We reached that goal at the first race of the season and we are confident that we can reach that once again this weekend. It’s just going to be about perfecting our strategy and maximizing the track time, but I feel that we have a good weekend ahead of us.”
