Dale Coyne Racing with Team Goh’s Alex Palou in the No.55 Guaranteed Rate Honda was third with a 01:01.4319s.

Takuma Sato in the No.30 Panasonic PeopleReady Honda was fourth just ahead of AJ Foyt Racing’s Sebastien Bourdais and Andretti Autosport’s Alex Rossi.

Rinus VeeKay was seventh just ahead of Josef Newgarden and Will Power while Scott McLaughlin in his first official practice rounded out the top ten with a time of 01:01.677s.

Ryan Hunter-Reay was 11th just ahead of Oliver Askew who brought the red flag at the end of the session.

Marcus Ericsson was 13th in the No.8 Huski Chocolate Honda for Chip Ganassi Racing just ahead of Felix Rosenqvist and championship leader Scott Dixon who brushed the wall.

Pato O’Ward in the No.5 Arrow McLaren SP Chevrolet was 16th just ahead of Simon Pagenaud and Conor Daly while Marco Andretti was 19th. Charlie Kimball rounded out the top 20 for AJ Foyt Racing.

Jack Harvey was 21st just ahead of Santino Ferrucci and Max Chilton while Graham Rahal in the No.15 United Rentals Honda rounded out the order in 24th.
