Colton Herta in the No.26 Gainbridge Honda stayed fastest on Saturday in Toronto, leading Kyle Kirkwood in an Andretti Global 1-2 ahead of qualifying for Sunday’s race on the streets around Exhibition Place. Herta set a 01:00.5763s.

Team Penske’s Will Power was third fastest in the No.12 Verizon Business Chevrolet, ending the session just ahead of Chip Ganassi Racing’s Scott Dixon in the No.9 PNC Bank Honda, who set a 01:00.8539s. At the same time, Alex Palou was fifth fastest, just ahead of Scott McLaughlin and Rinus VeeKay. Josef Newgarden was eighth fastest, just ahead of Christian Lundgaard, while Marcus Armstrong rounded out the top ten in the No.11 On The Run Chip Ganassi Racing Honda.

Pato O’Ward was 11th, just ahead of David Malukas and Marcus Ericsson, while Felix Rosenqvist was 14th fastest, just ahead of Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing’s Graham Rahal.

Hunter Mclrea was 16th, just ahead of Agustin Canapino, and Christian Rasmussen was 18th, just ahead of Romain Grosjean, while Nolan Siegel rounded out the top twenty.

Linus Lundqvist was 21st just ahead of AJ Foyt Racing’s Santino Ferrucci in the No.14 Sexton Properties AJ Foyt Racing Chevrolet while Sting Ray Robb was 23rd just ahead of Toby Sowery.

Kyffin Simpson was 25th just ahead of Pietro Fittipaldi who rounded out the order as Theo Pourchaire travels to Toronto to drive in place of the injured Alexander Rossi.
