Red Bull Racing’s Daniel Ricciardo has said that his former team mate Sebastian Vettel’s frustrations this season have been a bit much.

Vettel went on a swear word rampage against Formula One race director Charlie Whiting during and immediately after the Mexican Grand Prix telling him to F*** o**. Ricciardo stated after the race:

He has shown in the past he can be a bit emotional but this year it seems to be a bit more.

Ricciardo went on to say that if he gets frustrated during a race he says something to himself about it before going on radio.

Ricciardo went on to say that a driver can swear in their helmet, take a few moments and then go on the radio to speak to his team. Vettel was handed a ten second time penalty for blocking Daniel Ricciardo during the race and was demoted to fifth place in the race as a result.
