The Mayor Of HinchTown set a fastest time of 01:08.9994s ending the session just ahead of Harding Steinbrenner Racing’s Colton Herta in the No.88 GESS International Honda.
Dale Coyne Racing were extremely impressive with Santino Ferrucci in the No.19 David Yurmann Honda as he ended the session in third place just ahead of his team mate Sebastien Bourdais in the No.18 SealMaster Honda.
Alexander Rossi in the No.27 NAPA Auto Parts Honda was fifth for Andretti Autosport just ahead of his team mate Ryan Hunter Reay in the No.28 DHL Honda.
Spencer Pigot was the fastest Chevrolet powered car for Ed Carpenter in the No.21 Chevrolet in seventh just ahead of Carlin Racing’s Patricio O’Ward while Marco Andretti in the No.98 US Concrete Honda was ninth. Defending NTT IndyCar Series champion Scott Dixon rounded out the top ten for Chip Ganassi Racing in the No.9 PNC Bank Honda.
Team Penske’s Will Power in the No.12 Verizon Chevrolet was 11th fastest just ahead of Andretti Autosport’s Zach Veach in the No.26 Gainbridge Honda.
Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing’s Takuma Sato in the No.30 MiJack Panasonic Honda was 13th fastest just ahead of Arrow Schmidt Peterson Motorsports Marcus Ericsson in the No.7 Arrow Electronics Honda who set a time of 01:09.5385s.
Simon Pagenaud was 15th for Team Penske just ahead of Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing’s Graham Rahal in the No.15 One Cure Honda.
Felix Rosenqvist in the No.10 NTT DATA Honda who set the fastest time in the morning session was 17th for Chip Ganassi Racing just ahead of Josef Newgarden in the No.2 Fitzgerald US Chevrolet for Team Penske.
Jack Harvey was 19th for Meyer Shank Racing in the No.60 AutoNation Sirius XM Honda just ahead of Mathues Matt Leist as AJ Foyt Racing were able to repair the Brazilian’s car on time for the second session. Tony Kanaan in the No.14 ABC Supply Chevrolet was 21st for AJ Foyt Racing just ahead of Ed Jones and Max Chilton.
DragonSpeed Racing’s Ben Hanley rounded out the order in 24th place. There is a final practice session tomorrow morning ahead of qualifying for the race.
