The Mayor of HinchTown James Hinchcliffe says he hopes that he and his No.5 Arrow Electronics Honda can challenge at the front of the field for today’s Honda Indy Toronto at Exhibition Place.
The Arrow Schmidt Peterson Motorsports driver hasn’t had much luck when it comes to qualifying on Saturday’s this season but has fared better in the races.
Hinch will start his home race from 14th on the grid and speaking on Sunday morning ahead of final warm up he said that the No.5 Arrow Electronics Honda is faster than many of the drivers in front of him and he plans to use his strategy to get to the front of the field.
Hinch says that a two stop strategy is the fastest route to the front in Toronto and that a three stop is doable but that depends on the Firestone reds and how long they last for of the course of the 85 lap race.
Hinch has experience of running up front at Toronto and he will be aiming to utilize this experience in today’s race.
