Arrow Schmidt Peterson Motorsports James Hinchcliffe suffered a huge crash during his qualifying run for the 103rd running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge.
The Mayor of HinchTown walked away from the crash but the team will have to work hard to get the Canadian back on track for a second qualifying attempt.
The crash was the latest in a long list of big crashes at the Speedway this week including Fernando Alonso, Patricio O’Ward and Kyle Kaiser.
The car was on edge, and is sub optimal and they will take another shot tomorrow. We overstepped today, I don’t know what to say, it’s tough.
