Schmidt Peterson Motorsports James Hinchcliffe in the No.5 Arrow Honda did a great job at his home race the Honda Indy Toronto on Sunday.
Starting the race from sixth place, the highest placed Honda powered car on Saturday the Mayor of HinchTown made steady progress throughout the race and ended up coming home to the delight of the crowd in third place joining Will Power and Helio Castroneves on the podium.
The result moves Hinch up to eighth place in the Verizon IndyCar Series points standings as the road show moves on to Mid Ohio for the next race in two weeks time.
Speaking to Paddock Eye in the post race press conference Hinch said that he had no concerns in relation to fuel saving towards the end of the race with TK (Tony Kanaan) struggling on worn tires. The home support also gave him a boost coming into Turn 11 on the last lap.

Hinch also stated that when he was on the Firestone reds the car was really good which gave him the tools for some fun racing with Sebastien Bourdais.
Hinchcliffe also said that the result is definitely a highlight on the career reel.
