James Hinchcliffe has said that he is just playing the waiting game as he prepares to go back in qualifying later this afternoon after he was unhappy with his first qualifying attempt where he put the No.5 Schmidt Peterson Motorsports Honda ending the session in 11th place.

Hinchcliffe who goes into the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil having finished on the Angie’s List Grand Prix of Indianapolis podium in third place.

Hinchcliffe stated that even if he doesn’t make it into the Fast nine for Sunday it won’t be a case of the team throwing in the towel.
