Arrow Schmidt Peterson Motorsports James Hinchcliffe in the No.5 Arrow Electronics Honda starts today’s ABC Supply 500 at Pocono Raceway from 10th place on the grid.
Hinch goes into the race hoping for a strong result and challenging for a podium finish. Speaking following practice for today’s race, Hinch said:
“I think it was a productive session for us. The No. 5 Arrow car had a lot of speed off the truck, and the balance is the best we’ve had here for a couple of years. It’s really unfortunate we didn’t get to qualify because I think our single-car pace was actually pretty solid and certainly better than 10th. It’s a 500-mile race, we’ve got a long way to go. I think the changes INDYCAR made to the rules from last year is going to make it a much better race and a lot more passing on track. We just have to keep our heads clean tomorrow, make the car a little bit better in traffic and no reason we can’t move forward.”
