Verizon IndyCar Series drivers James Hinchcliffe of Schmidt Peterson Motorsports and Ryan Hunter Reay of Andretti Autosport spent time with the LAPD in the build up to last weekend’s Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach.

Hinchcliffe and Hunter Reay received training from the LAPD driving school and drove some patrol cars.

The experience was great practice for the pair as during Sunday’s race they ran up front at the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach with Hinch taking victory while Hunter Reay was forced to retire from the race.
