Verizon IndyCar Series driver James Hinchcliffe will have a busy start to the new year. The Schmidt Peterson Motorsports driver will compete in the Race of Champions in Miami which takes place on January 21/22.
The Mayor of HinchTown will then head to Daytona International Speedway as the Canadian will compete in the Rolex 24 Hours with Mazda alongside Spencer Pigot on January 28/29.
Speaking following his first test in the Mazda Prototype on Friday, Hinchcliffe said that the seating position in the cockpit is similar to the one he experiences in the Verizon IndyCar Series.
Hinchcliffe joins his Verizon IndyCar Series colleagues Scott Dixon, Tony Kanaan and Sebastien Bourdais in the field for the race.
