Andretti Autosport’s James Hinchcliffe who got was announced on Wednesday will compete for Michael Andretti’s team for the month of May at the GMR Grand Prix of Indianapolis and the 104th running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge will drive the No.29 Genesys Honda for the first time at the IndyCar open test at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway at the end of April.

The Canadian will join his team mate’s Ryan Hunter Reay in the No.28 DHL Honda, Alexander Rossi in the No.27 NAPA Auto Parts Honda, Marco Andretti in the No.98 US Concrete Honda, Zach Veach in the No.26 Gainbridge Honda and Colton Herta in the No.88 Capstone Turbines Honda at the test.

It will be Hinch’s first opportunity to test the new for 2020 aeroscreen.
