Schmidt Peterson Motorsports drivers James Hinchcliffe and Robert Wickens were set to fly straight from Iowa to Toronto on Sunday evening following the Iowa Corn 300 for a busy week of media appearances leading up to their home race, the Honda Indy Toronto, however that plan changed when the Mayor of HinchTown won the race on Sunday.

As Hinch said after the race it was the perfect way to bounce back from the disappointment of missing the 102nd running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil six weeks ago.

The result re-ignited Hinch’s season and has propelled him into the top ten in the championship.

The driver of the No.5 Arrow Electronics Honda has always driven well in Toronto and picked up a podium here in 2016, he will be hoping to carry this momentum from the win in Iowa to his home race in Toronto.
