The Honda powered NTT IndyCar Series teams head into the Japanese manufacturer’s home race at Twin Ring Motegi today.
The Firestone 175 marks round four of the inaugural NTT IndyCar Series iRacing Challenge. The opening race at the Watkins Glen International circuit was won by Sage Karam in the Chevrolet powered No.24 Wix Filters car for Dreyer & Reinbold Racing.
Virgin Australia Supercar champion Scott McLaughlin took his first NTT IndyCar Series virtual win in the No.2 Shell V Power Team Penske Chevrolet at Barber Motorsports Park while last time out in Michigan last weekend, defending Indianapolis 500 winner Simon Pagenaud in the No.22 DXC Technology Chevrolet took victory.
Honda will have an extra car in the race as Takuma Sato in the No.30 Panasonic/Keihin Honda who is excited to be competing at home.
