Honda Performance Development heads into this weekend’s first oval race of the 2022 NTT IndyCar Series looking to bounce back from the season-opening Firestone Grand Prix presented by RP Funding on the streets of St Petersburg.
Alex Palou got his title defence off to a strong start as he finished the race in second place behind race winner Scott McLaughlin.
Honda has won here with Scott Dixon, three times in the past four years so they will be hoping that one of their drivers can take victory on Sunday.
This weekend’s race is Andretti Autosport’s Romain Grosjean’s first outing on a Super Speedway while Jimmie Johnson is also competing here in an IndyCar for the first time and has been incredibly successful here in NASCAR.
