The NTT INDYCAR SERIES will see Honda Performance Development showcase their unique Honda CR-V Hybrid Racer with the INDYCAR powertrain and 2024 Hybrid INDYCAR SERIES technology on Friday and Saturday at the Mid-Ohio Sportscar Course and will lead the 17 car field to the green in Sunday’s Honda Indy 200, round nine of the 2023 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season, the midpoint of the championship.

Conceived and designed by Honda Performance Development (HPD) in Southern California, the Honda CR-V Hybrid Racer is a rolling laboratory built completely by Honda engineers to continue developing our electrified motorsports programs. It was constructed at Honda’s North American Automotive Development Center (ADC) in Ohio by the Honda of America Racing Team, an all-volunteer group of passionate enthusiasts who dedicated their weekends, vacation time and holidays to the build.

The CR-V features the HPD INDYCAR drivetrain, racing suspension,Firestone high-performance tires and Honda CR-V Hybrid bodywork.
