The Honda Indy Toronto which takes place at Exhibition Place in Toronto, Canada, the NTT IndyCar Series’ only trip outside of the United States is unlikely to go ahead again in 2021 due to the continuing COVID-19 global pandemic Paddock Eye has learned.

Paddock Eye can reveal that due to the current travel restrictions in place between the United States and Canada and the need for mandatory quarantine, the race in Toronto is unlikely to happen.

The City of Toronto put in place a ban on in-person major events to stop the spread of COVID 19 until July 1 which gives race organizers, Green Savoree Racing Promotions just eight days to get everything in place for the race which is scheduled to take place from July 9-11.
