Renault Sport F1 Team Chief Technical Officer Bob Bell believes that their new driver Nico Hulkenberg will help the direct the Enstone based outfit.
Hulkenberg joined Renault over the winter after being released by Force India a year early and Bell believes that the German will be able to tell the team were to focus their efforts when it comes to developing the car from the drivers point of view.
Bell believes that the sport moving to larger tyres this season that having a driver as experienced as Hulkenberg will help the teams transition.
Bell believes that Hulkenberg will play a key role in moving the team forward during the 2017 season.
The 2016 season was a transition year for the Enstone based outfit after they took over the Lotus F1 Team at the end of 2015 and to a certain extent 2017 will be a continuation of that transition period with Hulkenberg coming in and the team adapting to the new regulations.
